The Social Services Appeal Board is an independent appeal body, whereby a fair, impartial and informal appeal process is available to all who require a ruling on decisions relating to various programs and services.

The programs and services that are within the jurisdiction of the board are:

  • Employment and Income Assistance
  • Rent Assist
  • Adoption Agency Licensing
  • Child Care Subsidy and Facility Licensing
  • 55 Plus Junior Component
  • Manitoba Prenatal Benefit
  • Residential Care Facility Licensing
  • marketAbilities Program
  • Community Living disABILITY Services
  • Child Care Qualifications
